Katelyn's passion for dance and movement began as a child, at home, choreographing dances with her friends in their driveways. Eventually she did join a local rec program centered in jazz, musical theatre, and lyrical. There, she fell in love with every part of the dance world and immediately wanted to expand her skill set. Soon she was training in hip - hop, jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, theatre, and joined a competitive performance hip-hop team. Later, she began assistant teaching for ballet and tap as well as leading small workshops and camps. She has since taught hip - hop, ballet, tap, theatre, lyrical, acro, and jazz to a variety of age groups.

She loves tapping into the connection each dancer shares with their piece. No two dancers move the same, because we all feel the music differently. She finds so much love and beauty in expressing oneself in all ways imaginable through the art of movement. She welcomes anyone onto the dance floor and aims to intrigue, inspire, and challenge any and all dancers who join her for class!
